Welcome to the 2022-2023 school year at John F. Kennedy Elementary School!  We are pleased to serve you and your child in the coming school year.

ALL K-5 Parents – Lunch is NO LONGER FREE!  Please fill out an application for “Free and/or Reduced Lunch” as soon as possible to avoid lunch charges.  The application is available on the KCKPS website or call us at 913-627-4950 for guidance on this. 

School hours (Mon/Tues/Thurs/Fri) are 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.  School begins promptly at 9:00 a.m. Please do not drop off your child before 8:30 a.m. and promptly pick-up your child each day by 4:00 p.m. On Wednesdays, school dismisses early at 2:00 p.m. as KCKPS releases students early each Wednesday for staff training.  On Wednesdays, please pick up your child by 2:00 p.m.
